Sven-Göran Eriksson

Out of the blue in came the international football star manager Sven Eriksson. I am quite sure most of you know his history, but if not – he has managed both Manchester City and the England team.

Anyway, he popped in with a very good mutual friend of ours – a Swedish guy called Joal.

At the next table was our own World Champion David Haye and of course they had a good chat with each other.

Well, I had Sven Eriksson at my table and we had a great chat. I know very little about football but at the time Harry Redknapp had just announced that he was innocent and that he was in line to be England’s new manager.

During the dinner there were many opinions as to if Harry was the right guy for the the job but I have to tell you that Sven was the sole of discretion but when pushed for his opinion he gave a very interesting answer…

However as they say in Vegas “What is said in Stringfellows stays in Stringfellows”.

By the way David Haye says he is in line to fight the the Russian giant Vitali Klitschko brother to Wladimir the one he fought last time. David makes no secret of the fact that they have yet to put down the appropriate amount of money to get him really intrested.

Just for the record he still fully trains every day.
